Commercial and national accounts manager Dan Chapman of Affordable Quality Moving and Storage (AQMS) was born in Pennsylvania, raised in New York, and moved to California in 1992. He has also been to five of the seven continents while serving as a Marine. Some of his stations include Japan, Somalia, and even off the coast of Eastern Africa during a 6-month WestPac.
With his history including so much travel, it is no surprise he has chosen to work in the fields of transportation and logistics for more than 20 years. He has contracted for the United States Marine Corps, the United States Census Bureau, Nestle, UPS, FedEx, UHL, and Airborne Express. When our clients have highly specific questions or needs that need both technical knowledge and outside-the-box thinking, they know they can rely on Dan. It is his personal mission to make people feel comfortable during their move, which could otherwise be a stressful time.
When not leading the way with innovation at AQMS, Dan is a bit of a Renaissance man. He enjoys many outdoor activities, like disc golf and hiking, and spends time with his family. In the past, he has written songs that played on national radio stations, won a United Nations Humanitarian Medal, won the LA County Bowl (1997), played a police officer in movies and television shows, and coached the Beverly Hills Police Department to a Bronze Medal victory for the World Police & Fire Games.
